INIAP – International Network on Invasive Aquatic Plants

About the International Network on Invasive Aquatic Plants (INIAP)

We are an international consortium dedicated to promoting research, development, and the sustainable management of invasive aquatic plants (IAP). Our network unites academics, researchers, government agencies, NGOs, industry professionals, and other stakeholders with a shared interest in the utilisation and management of invasive aquatic plants. By fostering transdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to advance knowledge, create partnerships, and disseminate research that addresses the challenges and opportunities presented by invasive aquatic plants.

Our Vision

We envision a world where invasive aquatic plants are managed sustainably and utilised effectively to create environmental, economic, and social benefits. By leveraging the collective expertise and innovation of our members, we strive to transform the challenge of IAP into opportunities for sustainable development.
